Sweat

Sweat is
Either from hard work
Or from
Nerve.
Feel its particular heat and movement on the skin
To find which.

old that i love the most — i can’t count how many times i tripped and fell with her, just catching or sometimes racing with the wind; i wanted to give it away to my nephew but never happens as i so much love this powerful Blue

my frequent commute buddy when i am not on taxi or bus

colleagues who commute by bikes will shower (again) in the office before starting working because of sweating but i won’t

i let my sweat dry by the AC 😁

biking is in my blood, from elementary until senior high schools and sometimes in uni i did move around by bike — i only totally stopped riding bike when i was working in Jakarta where cars are more preferred even if the traffic is heavy

my friend was in biz trip in London and brought one home for me with much cheaper price compared to Singapore’s — new, lighter and brighter and fancier than Blue but sometimes too shiny for me to move around so she doesn’t get frequent outting; i’ll bring you out more, Red and maybe someday i will give you away to my nephew so you will be ridden more for functional fun

thank you, life for opening my eyes every now and then with or without sweating

Let’s go biking! 🚴🏻‍♀️

a hill or a mountain? 😁

Rain

If you can stop rain,
Try. You will get an award,
Or another job.

In the last two days rain didn’t stop, literally 48 hours down pour. I thought it wouldn’t rain today, cloudy day though. So, well packed I was off to the open air.

As the track was a bit slippery with thin mud, biking speed limit had to be pretty low. With some road block, not much space is there to ride comfortably.

The plan to have lunch while reading didn’t work either as the cafe closed much earlier today and they said the same for tomorrow. It started to rain so no no choice but turning back to home route. The cafe wouldn’t allow me to stay longer ‘coz they would cover all the chairs with tarpaulin soon.

Light rain is good….. in a good day. It felt like itchy needles on skin today. Lucky to cover half of the face with this cute face mask so no one would see this bad mood.

Some plans don’t work. Some days don’t come out nice and bright. Ah…! As long as I’m still alive, it’s ok. I don’t have to stop the rain to enjoy biking. If I can stop rain, I might get an award or a new job as a “rain shaman”. What a busy life if I am…. 😛

Under the railway not far from home…. Let’s sit down and recharge smile battery.

Lovin’ Ma Bike

Remembering what you did in childhood is like watching cartoon movies, entertaining and energizing. How painfully the bad time was brought to you, when recalled, it brings a good smile back to your face.

When I was a girl, I loved riding bike. Often time racing with no one just with my beloved red one, enjoying the wind as if I was the queen of the road. Old people knew I was one of the careless.

One day I took off hands from the handlebars to clap hands singing along. Stupidly… No… Excitedly! Thought I was good enough as a bike rider. So, the wind took control of the bike in high speed as we were sliding from a sloping edge. We crashed into a coconut tree in front of neighbour’s house. It was my first bloody accident in life and not the last for sure 😊 I was lucky to live in a community who believed that children of the neighbourhood were the responsibility of all…

By then bike and I always met our rescuers. Now I won’t, so I ride bike wisely…. 😁 So far only one mudguard wheel was gone because of one silly accident —an irresponsible electric scooter didn’t want to slow down and forced me to get stuck to the side of the bike way pushed us to a tree. Hope no accident anymore 👍🏽

Nothing happens for no reason. Always be happy how much ever life sprinkles bitter to your plate. Hope all become good memories when we see it from later time.

May all beings be happy.
