How long How far How intense Does she endure life?
Start slow and steady, Move at constant pace, Travel farther, Rest when needed, Fix technical issues, Read and review, Keep going.
She endures to reach an end Safely, Not swiftly And that's her endurance.
i didn’t meet Sam today, she probably took a break or maybe she knew that the pool was packed (normally only 5 at this hour, 12 today) so she pulled herself back — my 30′ went fast with a lot of interruption, my next is two days from now and i wish to see fewer people so i can train myself better
There is pain And patience In endurance, A chemical compound That swims in blue skies, Gets sprinkled down to a pool Where Superman Is endured.

i met Sam who swam for 20 laps of 50-meter long pool today – she swam without stopping at all, while i stopped in the middle just because a leaf poked my goggles
Sam was 65 and she said she also started like me (not consistently moving, she even said she preferred the small pool of 25-meter long near my block) – sixtyfiiivvveee!!!
she said she pushed herself past several years before finally enjoying the 50-meter long lap with no stop back and forth for one hour
see you in two days, Sam! thanks for inspiring me with your humbleness and endurance ๐

What about Manila that makes me feel home other than those dedicated working partners and turon (fried banana)?
Jeepney!
My childhood town used to have public transportation exactly like Philippinesโ Jeepney; we called them PC (pronounce as โpay sayโ in English phonetics). They were everyoneโs favourite for the space, air circulation and low price. Pak Sugeng was one PC owner cum driver who became all womenโs sweetheart for his patience to wait for those women doing their errands in the central market and his helpfulness to lift all the shopped goods. What a good day it was!
Now Philippines is the blessed country with Jeepney. These ex wat vehicles during World War Ii are truly reliable and strong means of transportation for the people there. I took Jeepney once when having opportunity to visit Lapu-Lapu City in 2012. I think I paid for PHP50 for the ride!
Jeepney should be kept as a social heritage. It is unique, historical and supporting the life of those surrounding.
This vehicle is relevant for those with high resilience and survival spirit like Filipino and Indonesian!
Thank you, Manila and its surrounding for the friendship and lessons.
