I Bow to The Divine in You

The bow that launches
Is the arrow that is shot:
An exhibit by the
One
That honour is inevitably
Gorgeous
For that
Respecting
From that
Witnessing.

Salute to the bowstring.

β€”β€”

I have learnt how to genuinely respect my teachers and other human beings even more after learning meditation in Bali Usada β€” I humbly thank you, Pak Merta Ada. I bow to the divine in you and all my fellow Tapa Brata participants πŸ™πŸΌ

it was a sunny day so Pak Merta Ada invited us all to end the Tapa Brata with 1-hour meditation under the blessed bodhi tree β€” hope health and calmness be granted to all of us β™₯️

Pak Ishak giving his testimony about the noble silence, Ibu Lady his wife video shooting him β€” the oldest participants in this Tapa Brata 2 we all cordially respect

Three of us stayed in bungalow #4 for 12 days of which in 1st-11th we didn’t talk to each other. We just took turn of using bathroom, switching on/off light at 3:30am and 10:00pm, making sure towel racks were sunbathed, replenishing toilet tissue, cleaning bathroom. All were done in silence in between meditation sessions, physical exercises, meals and lectures. Only at the last night after Tapa Brata was officially summed up, we could not stop sharing about our life journey until 2:00am.

Tami is 32, Fitri is 33 and I am 48: I am the oldest but I am the baby in meditation β€” they meditated 1.5 hours without changing position, I did but could not stop β€œngereog” in the last 5 to 10 minutes.

My age doesn’t mean anything with these 2 ladies of harmonious mind.

See you again, my little sisters! Anicca!
πŸ’•

ngereog literally means performing reog dance; Tami used the word to describe someone’s intense movement during meditation due to muscle stress πŸ˜‚

Ibu Lady, Srimurni and I showered by the morning light right after morning meditation and no shower (yet) β€” Srimurni was one of those could not stop talking to me after the Tapa Brata πŸ˜„

pure friendship is such a magical bond πŸ’•

Am I Free

I’m a torch no more.
I’m a morning for my day
To be. Am I free?

Just one click! Then the monitor shows something brighter and full of hopes! Vast ocean of happinessβ€”

Why is it so blocked to be optimistic? Take a mirror, unlock just one sweet smile, look into the smiling face more deeply a little bit longer and know why…. Dear, Love. Just one click!

May all beings be happy.

Staying Home Longer – haiku

Staying home longer
Is such a bless. She’s happy.
Thanks, trip postponement.

Singapore – March 11, 2020 / 7:50am

β€”

My March will be with less packing and unpacking. Two trips to Japan have been postponed until situation is well settled. It means a lot to me: walking more, cooking more, going to gym more, meet-up more, sketching more, reading more, all is more except eating – no eating more!

Sometimes others’ hell can be someone else’s heaven. I’m not happy with the COVID-19 but honestly it has blessed me with awareness of self health and more time to stay home. πŸ₯°

I pray that the situation will be well settled soon.

May all beings be happy….

Incineration – haiku for 2020

Incineration
Is open, ready to burn
Rubbish. All is well.

New year again? 😼

Although a year is just an agreed cycle, it has always directed a human being (me) to (nervously) plan things – end of year feels like a Management System practice for me: reviewing all the goal, action, gap, errors, plan adjustment, take away and self-scolding of why-this-why-not-that. Of course I’ve failed in many corners and turns every single year. Umm…. It doesn’t matter, lovely Self. 😘

And taps on my shoulders are enough to celebrate some success. 😘

Learning from my stupidity, I decided to make 2020 an incineration. A central waste plant to destroy each and every memory and/or situation that doesn’t serve my journey anymore. Decluttering!

I have a long virtual list of those needing to be burnt! One of them could be YOU! 😁

Thank you, 2019 for the ride and lessons. You are loved, you are remembered. Rest In Peace.

Happy New Year 2020! Welcome, this new Self!

Health, Love, Stock Price!

I wish you are all blessed through your own blessings.

….. One more: God bless all animal rescuers on earth! πŸ’

Prayer – To Beloved Moppy

Prayer is a bunch of energy circulating through words, imaginations, deeds to materialise. So, when we’re praying we are changing the energy into materials which can be seen, heard, tasted, smelt, touched with our physical senses.

But is it only physical that gives the sensation? No, there is something un-seen, un-heard, un-tasted, un-smelt, un-touched but still can be felt…That’s why 6th sense exists.

After six, then there is 7, 8, etc? For sure…. But I want to say that that 6 covers all above 5.

So, if our prayer won’t materialise the energy into those five physical sensations, it means the energy is lingering as the 6th sensation. You still can feel it.

Pray. Even if it doesn’t happen as the eyes want to sense, ears want to sense, tongue wants to sense, nose wants to smell, hands want to sense; your heart never fails to sense it.

Pray.
Pray.
Pray.

Materialize!

Dedicating this prayer to Moppy, the dog that is traveling from Palembang to Jakarta to be cured. I love you, Moppy…. Cured, cured, cured….
