Happy Diwali

Colour Dusts

This love, Beloved,
Can’t buy your life. It’s too small,
A library card
To borrow books full of clues
With which the path is open.

This path, Beloved,
Stands arched, meeting at both ends,
Leaving colour dusts.

Many words can’t explain the emotions experienced by human beings and what come out are symbolical beauty and serenity. For those who don’t like language will mostly get bored and or get misled with the real message.

That simply shows language is a great tool to communicate the idea and emotions yet what should always be remembered is that there are intrinsic and extrinsic factor to comprehend messages. Life isn’t WYSIWYG-based program to some extent.

At the end of the day it is about how I activate the radar through all senses to read messages around me.

Sometimes it is ok to misunderstand, but try best not to misunderstand 1 plus 1 equals 2 in basic Algebra.

Salaam.

Joy Is Always Waiting

There’s a hidden joy
Behind a pile of laundry.
Ironed, it shows up.

——————————————————

When finally a bucket of wrinkle fabrics pile up into nicely-layered pile of ironed clothes, who doesn’t feel the joy?

Some household chores are relaxing.

May all beings be happy.

proud of doing it all with these hands 😎

Life Skill Is Not That Simple

It takes basic skill
To be happy and peaceful.
Folding paper rice—

——————————————————-

Another Vietnamese cuisine came for brunch! 🍴

Thought it would be easy and fast to fold rice paper to wrap some veggies and meat. Thought it would take only basic skill of folding paper like making origami heart.

Yes, it is pre-basic skill of folding the paper yet the skill to control what’s inside the heart is not that basic. The intention to fold tidily and the urge of immediately eating nice food collided hard just because of a thin layer of helpless wet rice paper. It felt like now or never. Drama! 😂

Today’s target of eating 5 wraps didn’t happen. The rest of the filling became a bowl of salad.

Sorry, dearest paper rice. I failed you. No, no! 3 of 5 is 60%, more than 50% means winning in democracy. 😂

Next time better! 💝

yummy! will work better tomorrow for lunch 😊

Language of Palate

Palate, hard or soft,
Still rules.... Voice or taste with which
Days are counted on—-

————————————————————

After three giant scoops of sinful ice cream, let’s enjoy the day with much and much vegetable and protein! This must happen the whole day! Or the whole week 😩

Life is always good by ignoring nerve and counting the blessings.

Happy Vesak Day!

gado-gado siram my way 🥰 for this public holiday
