A word – haiku

Pronouncing good word,
Parrot is nodding its head.
When word is just word.

What does a word mean when it is uttered by a bird, it only repeating what it has heard from environment without knowing what it means. It means…. Meaning is not everything but it is more essential than just the pronounced lining letters.

Life, teach me about what essential when I pronounce a good word as I am not a parrot or any other copiers.

Scorching Month Day #9 – haiku

Brown river flows east,
Bringing rubbish, logs, deads —
Flood of west debris.

Focused – haiku

She’s bulging her eyes.
A brown dot in a ground street.
Good God! It’s a dog!

===

A story of me and my fellow creature, a beautiful dog

And I don’t know to whom I am asking these questions…. And, I find myself in the middle of a market…. Everyone is shouting, everyone is selling, everyone is focusing on what words they’re saying.

Eveyone is speaking, but no one is listening, everyone is living alone….

When I saw a dog in a steet, a dusty ground street. I asked him where I ought to go…. And, he just looked at me without a word passing by me away….

Every one is living, every one is breathing, every one is busy with oneself….

Every one is walking, but no one was stopping, just to care what life is in the other’s end….

Then I chased the dog passing by me. I said, “Hello, Dog. Where are you going? Can I go with you until the next cross roads”. He nodded his head and smiled….

Then we went ahead together. No cross road ahead we found and we decided to go ahead together until we really had to quit….

Life is about sharing even with a dog. Thank you, God for sending me a dog that has been so focused on walking down the path of life.

India – haiku

Night flashes me back
To “A Passage to India” —
With its two-branched end.

Coloring Mandala – Haiku

I’ve been coloring mandalas in a book entitled Coloring Mandala 4 For Confidence, Energy, and Purpose by Susanne F. Fincher. It’s fun, really fun. And while coloring the mandalas, my imagination is unlimitedly wandering around my cosmic awareness. My fingers become relaxed as much as my mind is….

Swirling pencils

Push me to a colorful valley —

Submerged in joy.

Some of the colored mandalas, please enjoy….

Haiku – Vibration

_DSC0883

Touching my chest

I hear throbbing pulses there —

Sign of life.

==========================

Breezing wind

Sweeps my hair and curtain, flying —

Cool air.

==========================

Coarse sand

And soil cover my skin and hair —

Earth is here.

==========================

Today I just want to emit vibration of love to all animals and underprivileged people in the world to support them in silence. I love you, I love you, I love you. You are loved, you are loved, you are loved. You are safe, you are safe, you are safe….. Mother Earth is helping you, protecting you all from harmful human beings. Be strong, be strong, be strong….. I love you, I love you, I love you. You are loved, you are loved, you are loved. You are safe, you are safe, you are safe…..

[Haiku Biografi] – [Rike Jokanan]

[Haiku Biografi] – [Rike Jokanan]

evening star
bengawan Solo flushed a jar
of placenta away

a nine-month old gal
ran in a speed uncontrolled
ended in a shrub

a wagon full of stuffs
carried tears and friendship away
to another mountain

colorful ribbons fly
overhead of jumpy monkeys
welcoming campus life

wrinkle skin and falling hair

glowing eyes staring at the moon

never ending gratitude

=====

bintang senjakala

bengawan Solo menghanyutkan

sebokor ari-ari

balita sembilan purnama
berlari tanpa haluan
nyungsep di semak

bak mobil penuh barang
bawa sahabat dan air mata
ke gunung nan jauh

berwarna-warni pita
beterbangan di atas monyet
jelang dunia kampus

berubah kulit dan rambut

gerlap mata menatap bulan

syukur tiada akhir
