Sketches, Beloved
Turning imagination
To the sensible
That won’t last longer than life;
Let go from the very start—
—
Sometimes I asked myself “what will happen to all these sketches when I die?” 🫥 Not easy to answer until I realised what I have done to most of my mistakes: let go.
🤡
Bouquet, Beloved,
A bunch of symbols arranged
Through fragrance and hues.
—
Amaryllis: strength and determination
Daffodil: honesty, truth and forgiveness
Eucalyptus: division of the underworld, earth and heaven (Aboriginal wisdom); inner and outer strength, leadership
Gladiolus: faithfulness and integrity
Lily of the valley: sincerity and joy
Sunflower: loyalty and unconditional love
Tendril: growth, softness, flexibility (Javanese wisdom)
Achene’s a message
Sent to wish more joy and bliss.
Sad no more, dear earth.

Each day new day. It is equivalent with Javanese wisdom “mati sajroning urip” which literally means “dead within life”. It is a very deep wisdom teaching Javanese human beings to let the old self to transform to the new one. It is simply acknowledging that some problems are let go and self is moving on with better understanding about what life is truly is.
If life challenge is considered a seed, it will free the human being, fly away to fall on Mother Earth’s lap somewhere and be part of green woven blanket beautifying and cooling.
Life is just like that.
Salaam.
You have to believe
Nature lives with you, ruling
Games in which you are.
See colours. Watch shapes. Seasons,
Patterns count the scores to make.
Fruits rot. Flowers sere.
Leaves fall. Trunks topple. Roots die.
This plant is a name
In encyclopaedia,
Memory of its climbers.

This body has expiry date. I’m seeing it deteriorates in time. What will be something of me left behind?
Temasek, Ramadhan 11 / 5:55am
She’s dancing freely
Between needles of the rain.
Wounds in a bright soul—
—————————————————————
She loves rain as much as she adores rainy days. It reminds her of millions of water needles sharply in high speed falling on earth, different parts of earth.
Heart rain washing a rainforest is a blessing, flood in Jakarta tortures many stray animals and the underprivileged.
It’s not the pain, Beloved. It’s what’s left after suffering.
Are you still beautiful?
May all beings be happy.
Picture is borrowed from https://wallpaperaccess.com
It’s Helianthus
Following Helium core,
Breathing in the life.
———————————————————
Sufficient for me is you, and you’re where I give myself over to.
May all beings be happy. 💝
Dogma, Beloved,
The least she can hold in life.
She is full of quests.
————————————————————
What human beings should think of being sick is it is a tool materialised by Life to make them stop or at least slow down especially from analysing every single thing. Yet human beings often forget that blessing should not be always gift-wrapped in fancy paper with ribbons; it might be sometimes humbly bundled in a sack.
Blimey! Why do I have so many sacks? And poorly unable to untie them successfully 😎
May all beings be happy.
Flower, Beloved
Triggers moods or decoys dreams.
You are, Beloved
The beauty behind beauty.
Sheer in the dark to sharp eyes—
———————————————————
When seeing this flower for the first time, I was wondering if it was plastic or real flower. That particular shape in the garland of real jasmine was still plastic in my head because when browsed in the Net, it was still found as plastic flower.
Until when found in Tekka Market. Oh goodness! It is a real flower! This flower exists! The flower seller said it is not easy to find and many use plastic to replace it for flower garland. No wonderrrrrr!
Browsing browsing browsing….
Ms Wiki said it is Calotropis Gigantea! And it is not something new. It’s been a flower scattered in front of the very eyes of mine back in dear homeland! We call it kapuk duri where I grew up; it is called biduri or widuri in Indonesian language.
You simply didn’t know that flower is hidden inside its crown, Self!
Some beauty lies behind beauty.
Salaam….
She sings a love song With Wind through the door whistling Melodiously....
Eight of ten days in January are rainy. Two days only are with sun shines warmly greeting the window.
On those eight days there has been wind pushing cold air and at times water into the living room or kitchen through the windows opening ajar. While it is cooling, it though wets the floor and curtain. While it is a bit scary at night, it though turns to whistles adding sound effect to the radio that’s on 24 hours this weekend.
Hope the water won’t be too much as I heard there has been flood in some places because of heavy rain. Hope everything will be fine for all creatures in this rainy season: all animals and homeless get sufficient food and shelter everyday.
May all beings be happy.
You are a flower
Ready for fruition. Give
The best of all crop.
Oh my…. And it is January 2, 2016. I feel like not ready to change the year – 363 to end this cycle and I haven’t decided if my resolution is fixed yet or need some trimming.
Last week I collected 5 things to focus on in 2016. Too many for a focus but yeah I need to get distracted sometimes ha ha….
So….
Enough?
I think so.
So, let’s do it!
Yes!!!
Two happy cats are with me 🙂

Do you like drinking tea? What tea? Chinese or English or Ceylon or Indian or local tea in your country?
Just last month my colleagues and I went to Shanghai’s Yu Garden to get some tea – a routine walk in Shanghai. Everyone in my circle like going there for good tea.
Different sizes of jars are piled and arranged in sparawling racks wall to wall. On a humble table the beautiful tea seller serves any requested tea. She infuses the tea with boiled water gracefully. She tries her best to speak English to all of us. Lucky we have Sabrina, a Singaporean Chinese with very good Mandarin; she always acts as our tranlator — thank you, buddy!
Leaf to wrap flowers – you infuse the tea ball, it will bloom and you see what flower inside the ball
Fruit base tea – orange peel, Apple, pear mixed together, the taste is amazingly good! Like a tango in the mouth and refreshing the cavity where it goes before reaching the stomach…. Then…. it goes to blood transporting energy to the whole body!
Green tea mixed with rose
Long story short, Chinese tea offers various kinds of a lot of ranges of color, ingredient, origin, taste and efficacy. You can find flower base, fruit base, leaf base, bark base, root base and all combinations of those all. So, you can shop as many as you want excitedly. There are tea for gastric, diet, cough, toothache, tiresome, skin rash, skincare, flu, rheumaticsm, etc…. It’s just exciting to shop teas in Yuan Garden.
When you are in Shanghai, please go to Yua Garden where our regular tea shop is located, it is shop lot # 99.

While waiting for flight, I went for a stroll in the garden of Changi airport as always, never think of boredom enjoying the sounds of forest and splash of water in the middle of greenery and flowers. Sometimes I envy how the “small red dot” can radiate such beauty’ while my beloved huge archipelago Indonesia is still craving for what’s called fairness (you can call it justice) for all….
Long story short, the giant bouquet was full of lilies and sunflowers and I was tempted to take some close-up pictures of them. The lilies are stunning, the sunflowers are just magnificent. But lilies drew my attention more strongly.
The pink and some stripes and dots show me details of pretty colors. And, I remembered lily symbolizes lots of quality of soul. Hope, transitioning, purity, renewal, passion, soul itself, motherhood, wedding, innocence and others…. Such a thorough symbol she is indeed.
All pictures are such clear message to me that those qualities above are existing that they are “patented” in the presence of lily by the ancient generations.
Let’s enjoy the beauty of lilies…
When colors do not attract eyes anymore,
Maybe it’s time for soul to go home.
But soul need no home to go,
She is the home for the life.
The door stands still, and we’re never outside.
Penang – March 17, 2015 – 7:57am – ready to cross Penang bridge
Through photography I learn a lot of things: how to focus – giving priority to either colour or shape, detail or wholeness, to be confident when taking pictures for often time the object is so weird people think photographer is crazy taking not so important things as interesting objects, how to take care of the camera and lenses and to review which photos should be saved or discarded….
In fact just this month I learned about one thing amazing through photography. Not found the lesson by myself but by listening to a young artist from Yogyakarta (Noe Sabrang of Letto). He talked about truth using photograph analogy. Won’t be accurately articulated but won’t deviate from his words:
“When someone takes picture of a flower and the pic is blurred, is it a flower when s/he claims it’s a flower? Yes, it is but it is vague and some people will probably deny its being a flower.
When someone takes picture of a flower and the pic is just ok, is it a flower pic? Yes, it is and people might recognise it is a flower.
When someone takes picture of a flower and the pic is naturally looking like the real flower, is it a flower pic? Yes, it is and people recognise it and even get amazed with the beauty of the flower that might have not been realized before.”
I think it is smart of his stating the truth through what has not been used as analogy of truth before.
Then I took the analogy home…. I thought and reckoned and recounted and pondered then come to an awareness…
Even if the flower pic is so naturally taken and amazed the eyes of the spectators…. It is still not the real flower.
It is reflection of the real flower. Reflection of truth…. Why do people like claiming they’re true? 🙂
Another lesson for me: truth discloses itself by time, piece by piece until it is crystal clear in the real shape and undeniable, human beings should just be patient.
